When no one believed him, he lied again, claiming that Iran was on the verge of developing nuclear weapons—the very weapons he had supposedly "utterly annihilated" weeks earlier. Remember Irak's "mass destruction" weapons?
Of course, Iran being obviously incapable of defending itself against the world's leading murderous bully, struck where it hurts most: the economy.
The bully then asked for help, of course claiming he didn't need it, to end Hormuz's blockade, which he had caused and got very angry because none of his "allies", never consulted before, wanted to help him. Of course he reneged on NATO and demanded Iran's complete surrender under threat of total destruction.
It's a new phenomenon that someone who flagrantly violates international law and commits war crimes announces it worldwide.
Let's remember that we had an "Iran nuclear deal", in effect since 2015 between Iran and the P5+1 (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council—the US, UK, France, Russia, and China—plus Germany) along with the European Union.
Trump broke this, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), in 2018.
Most countries and international organizations hate Iran's Islamic Republic (except a few Iranian allies) as it functions as a murderous authoritarian theocracy, but with JCPOA at least the world had eyes on Iran and the threat was contained. Remember the White House Faith Office wacko praying?
Then most likely convinced by Netanyahu (the world's 3rd biggest murderous bully, let's not forget Putin) convinced him to start this war.
The only ones getting anything from this war are Trump's friends investing in the rollercoaster stock market he unleashed, Israel, and the manufacturers of weapons of the world, inflation is up, gas prices up the roof, and interest rates are rising. Funnily enough, Donny lifted sanctions on Russia and Iran so now they can sell their oil and better finance their murderous activities freely.
To summarize, the biggest problem that the world is suffering with these bullies (and there are more than 3) is not the bully himself, because they will eventually wither and die.
The biggest problem is that the rest of the "bullies to be" of the world are realizing that bully actions do not result in any consequences, and it's the best way to steal the wimp's ice cream in the schoolyard.
The only way bullies can be stopped is if the wimps of the world gather together unite arms and say NO! UN with its veto countries should be dissolved and a United Federation of Countries should be created with vote based on population and simple majority. No vetos. Unfortunately we all know that this is not going to happen ever.
