I'm new here. I have been a member at a sister site to Civic Watch (CW), namely: Physics Forums (PF).
I have been a member of PF since December of 2010.
It was a thread I read at PF which brought me to CW. In that thread, the admin, @Greg Bernhardt , was explaining to a member that a thread of his had been deleted due to it being potentially too political in nature. Greg then suggested CW as a possible place to post such a thread.
So that piqued my curiosity and I took a look at CW. It looked interesting. I registered and was granted membership. ( There must not be much of a background check.)
