It is apparent to me that D Trump and his think tank are setting up the next insurrection.
Pardoning the Jan 6 insurrectioners is showing his future crowd sourced army (let's just call them CSA for the sake of this thread) that any and all crimes in Trump's favour will be pardoned.
The 1.76 billion dollar slush fund is tempting his CSA that they may become rich by committing crimes against the country for Trump's benefit.
The new Attorney General of the DOJ, is saying that he is all on board with this scheme, was instrumental in setting it up and has signed off on it. It is good to go. No judges or judiciary will be involved, just Trump and the 5 people handpicked by the AG (presumably puppet Trump lackeys).
The FBI are saying they will go after people that have opposed Trump, whether that is investigated crimes that Trump was alleged to have done, whether that is having publicly made anti Trump statements, or having testified against him.
SCOUTS have said Trump is immune from the law while in office.
The Republican House members and the Senate have said they will abdicate their responsibilities and will simply do whatever Trump wants.
Prediction: (based on past events)
In the leadup to the 2028 election Trump will claim voter fraud, will claim the Dems are stealing the election.
AG will support Trump's claim, many elector officials will go along with this and will refuse to sign off on election results.
Republicans will recruit large numbers of poll watchers, will amp up their suspicions and get them to lodge complaints about anything and everything.
Trump Lawyers will lodge many claims and will do a large PR campaign on tvs and media channels
The CSA will be very large, will be armed and will be more violent than Jan 6.
Things I'm less certain of:
Will Trump be seeking to keep office after his 2nd term expires? (will he seek a third term?)
Will Trump still be alive? (There is much speculation about his health)
Will violence and heavy handed things occur for the mid terms? (Obviously Trump doesn't want to lose the House or the Senate, it will greatly reduce his power)
I'm hoping I'm wrong.
