"Trump came to China! We won!" CNN anchor reveals the tidal wave of mockery coming from China as a dejected Trump begs Xi Jinping for mercy!

CNN’s Erin Burnett was visibly stunned by the sheer level of unrestrained mockery China is hurling at Donald Trump during his high-stakes visit.

While Trump begins meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, Chinese social media has exploded with viral posts openly ridiculing the U.S. president, and Beijing’s strict censors are happily letting it spread.

Some of the posts going viral across China include:

-- “America has lost its swagger. They’re nothing but a paper tiger.”

-- “Trump came to China! We won the tariff war!”

-- “They will look up to us from now on.”

-- “Trump, you’re welcome to visit China and learn from us.”

-- “The U.S. is no longer a country that we look up to. We can now compete with them with confidence and strength.”

Burnett pointed out that this kind of open political mockery – especially during a visit by a foreign head of state – is extremely rare in China unless the government explicitly wants it to happen.

The message from Beijing is crystal clear: they believe they have the upper hand and are enjoying Trump’s humiliation. This is the embarrassing reality of Trump’s failed tough-guy act.

After years of bluster and tariffs, Trump is now flying to China as a weakened leader, getting openly laughed at by the Chinese public with their government’s approval.

The “strongest president ever” is being treated like a joke on the world stage by America’s biggest rival.

This is what happens when an incompetent, blustering president thinks he can bully the world. The rest of the planet is watching and laughing.
 
I don't think this sentiment is specific to China, as a Kiwi, I think pretty much the same thing. I actually think alot of USA travellers are almost embarrassed these days to tell people they are from USA.
 
It's a never-ending horror show. Sue for $10 billion, settle for just under 2 without a trial thanks to people that he put in power, put the money in a place that he controls, and then get an effective pardon for anything related to the IRS.

I had the same experience, but for me it started much earlier—during the Yugoslav Wars in the 1990s. We all watched as our governments did nothing for years while people killed each other, eventually reaching nearly 140,000 deaths.

Then it continued through countless ignoble wars in Africa, culminating more recently in the so-called "special military operation" in Ukraine, the retaliatory genocide in Gaza, and the illegal, one-sided "wars" in Lebanon, Iran, and beyond.

Then I think of my tenant, who refuses to pay rent by bank transfer just to avoid the IRS… and I realize my own grievances aren't even petty by comparison.

Murderous silence...

A resignation wouldn't repair all the damage he's already done. It's epic if you look at the details! And the consequences of such an action wouldn't change anything at all.
 
I agree. There will be a ton of work to even begin fixing what he's destroyed.
 
'Live' screenshot of his name being removed from the Kennedy Center. It's interesting how that asshat didn't mind showing the world when he put his name on it but when it had to come down, they need a tarp. As usual, they waited until the last day of the deadline to even start and timed it so that it would be delayed by a thunderstorm that they knew was coming days in advance. Anything to keep it on there as long as possible.

That explains why they couldn't use the same $80 lift rentals that they used when his name went up. I wonder how much extra the scaffolding and tarp rental cost instead.

BREAKING: “ITALY NEVER BEGS!” Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni publicly tears into Trump after he causes a MAJOR international incident by falsely telling the media that she “begged” him for a photo at the G7!

Insecure and attention-hungry Donald Trump has apparently created a major rift between the United States and Italy by telling the press that the Italian Prime Minister was “begging him” for a photo and that he felt “sorry” for her.

In response, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani abruptly cancelled a planned trip to the United States this weekend, calling Trump’s claims “serious and offensive” toward Meloni and all of Italy.

Meloni herself released a video in which she addressed Trump’s lies in furious fashion.

“So, certain things deserve an immediate response,” says Meloni into the camera.
“Donald Trump's statements are completely fabricated. I am frankly appalled. I don't know why the President of the United States behaves this way towards his allies; after all, it's not the first time it's happened.”

“I can only say it's a pity that he doesn't show the same determination with the enemies of the West, with the enemies of the United States, with leaders towards whom he instead proves to be much more accommodating.”

“But he must remember one thing: Italy and I never beg.”

Trump had made the comments in an interview broadcast Friday morning on the La7 network.

Seriously, what is WRONG with him? This is the quintessentially Trumpian scandal: a national humiliation and international rift ignited by his jealousy at having to share the spotlight and his irrepressible urge to be a little see-ya-next-Tuesday towards everyone he doesn’t like.

Just a complete absence of anything resembling leadership, self-control, or basic human decency.

Yeah, that's his go-to statement about anyone he interacts with - "they begged me".
 
Pope Leo beautifully trolls MAGA racists by celebrating America's 250th birthday with a heartfelt celebration of immigrants.

Just when you thought you couldn't possibly like him even more...

"I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all Americans on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence," stated the first American Pope. "This semiquincentennial marks that defining moment in the history of the United States of America, July 4, 1776, that gave enduring voice to the ideals of liberty, equality, the pursuit of happiness, justice and democratic self-government."

Tragically, those ideals are under constant assault from Donald Trump, a President who has marked this Pope as one of his primary antagonists on the world stage. Leo has dared to criticize Trump's brutal treatment of migrants as well as his illegal war against Iran. Trump has attacked him, but clearly Leo remains unbowed.

"For two and a half centuries, generations of Americans have worked together to carry these principles forward — through sacrifice, service, innovation and civic participation," the Pope continued. "This anniversary stands as an invitation not only to celebrate the nation’s remarkable journey, but also to reflect upon the responsibilities that the sons and daughters of this country bear to one another, and to the generations who will inherit the nation that is being shaped today."

He went on to celebrate America's tradition of religious freedom, another principle that's under attack from a MAGA movement that wants to install a fascist Evangelical theocracy. But it was the section on immigrants that really has Republicans incensed—

"Defending human life also includes welcoming, protecting and assisting immigrants, whose hopes, sacrifices and contribution have formed part of the history of this country from its very beginning," said Leo. "In every generation, those who have arrived seeking freedom, opportunity and a place to belong have helped to shape the nation’s character. To receive them with compassion and generosity is not only an act of charity, but also a recognition of the dignity that belongs to every human person."

Contrast this patriotic message of inclusion with the hateful vitriol that constantly spews forth from the White House. Conservatives have been raging all week over the Supreme Court's decision to uphold birthright citizenship. Tomorrow, Trump will deliver a Fourth of July speech that will be partisan, self-aggrandizing, bigoted, and completely divorced from the eternal ideals that guided this nation's Founders.

As far as American leadership goes, Pope Leo puts Donald Trump to shame every single time.
