SUMMARY

Former President Donald Trump has commuted the prison sentence of former Representative George Santos, who was convicted for misusing campaign funds for personal expenses, including Botox and subscriptions to OnlyFans. This decision has sparked disbelief and concern among commentators regarding Trump's motivations, with speculation that Santos may soon receive a cabinet position. USEFUL FOR

Political analysts, economists, and anyone interested in the intersection of politics and economic policy, particularly in the context of campaign finance and government appointments.

Why would Trump do that?
From the article.
he misused campaign funds for personal reasons, including Botox, a subscriptions to OnlyFans and other luxury items.

The guy sounds woke, and needs a sombrero to match his Botox. ( butt )
One could have so much fun with this, but the Dems are defunct in the humour department.

( Or. its true, Luke, I am your closet woke )

All he cares about is surrounding himself with people with some power and influence that he can control. He essentially admitted to it by saying Santos always votes republican.

I guess we know who will be replacing Jerome Powell.

That's something I curiously wait to see the consequences of. Controlling the FED went terribly wrong in Turkey, resulting in a two-digit inflation. Perhaps I should consider buying gold in time, despite its recent rally.
