Trump Monument

SUMMARY

Trump has initiated significant demolition at the White House, creating a construction pit without a comprehensive plan or architect. A preservation group has filed a lawsuit to halt any further development, potentially leaving an unsightly hole adjacent to the White House. This situation has drawn comparisons to a political cartoon depicting a "Richard Nixon monument," symbolizing Trump's perceived ineptitude. The discussion suggests that future administrations could repurpose the site into a more aesthetically pleasing feature, such as a swamp.

Trump tore down a large part of the White House a few weeks ago and has since been excavating a construction pit (without a complete plan, or even an architect now).
Too bad for him, a preservation group has filed a suit to prevent any project there from going forward. We'll have to see how thee lawsuit goes, but this could leave a big ugly hole in the ground right next to the white house.

This reminds me of one of my favorite a political cartoons that came out after Nixon left the presidency. It showed a big, apparently bottomless hole in the ground labeled the Richard Nixon monument. There was a little guy looking over the edge.
Looks like Trump may have auto-created his own monument to his bottomless ineptitude.

Much more appropriate than an Arch de Trump!
Maybe the next administration can turn it into something nicer looking, like a swamp.
Let it fill with water (Washington DC was a swamp before the capitol was established there) and it will be his own swamp to own.

A premonition to future traitors.
