Wouldn't Scheißkopf be more appropriate?

Greensboro (dpo) – In the U.S., another sensational incident involving a police officer and an African American citizen has occurred. During a traffic stop in Greensboro, North Carolina, 29-year-old Dwayne Harris was—remarkably—neither shot nor brutally beaten. The American public is baffled by the motives of the officer, who allowed several opportunities to use force to pass by without taking action.
According to initial reports, Harris—who was on his way to pick up his daughter from kindergarten—was completely unarmed when he was pulled over in his dark blue Ford Escort during a traffic stop on Friday around 3:00 p.m. local time. Nevertheless, police officer Michael Barth (44) made no use of his Taser or his service weapon, and indeed refrained from any form of violence whatsoever.
"I assumed the situation was about to escalate, so I kept my phone camera rolling," an eyewitness told the TV station NBC. It was only the officer's friendly demeanor—and the absence of gunfire—that made him realize something was amiss. "I thought to myself, maybe the person being stopped was actually a white man with a full-body black tattoo; that would have explained the situation," the witness said. "But he was clearly black. Even when he reached into his glove compartment to retrieve his driver's license, the officer remained calm."
Why Barth deviated from the decades-old, customary protocol for traffic stops involving Black citizens remains unclear. The police union has since sharply criticized the officer's recklessness.
According to the local police department, Michael Barth has been reassigned to indefinite desk duty, where he can reflect on his conduct.
