So, there's a new meme going around calling him a TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out). The memes and t-shirts have already started.

Two swine mud-wrestling. These two are in a positive feedback circuit.
Was thinking the same thing. The old saying is never wrestle with a pig, you both get dirty and the pig likes it. The question here is who is going to like it more?

Of the two original DOGE guys, one, the smart one seeing the writing on the wall, got out early. Musk, on a euphoria high thought he was making a difference, but denied access to each and every dept. His 2 trillion became a lowly 100 billion from the low hanging fruit.
He is a little teed off on not having the reduction of the deficit as the primary goal of the new admin, rather than agenda 2025 and cronyism, which he didn't frown upon when given the chances. So he is a doink, and feels like one if he has some back reflection. He still 'owes' Trump around a 100 M what he promised during the election.
see, even rich people can be taken for a buttered up ride.

Elon is a national South African who emigrated to the United States illegally through fraud.

He better watch himself or he will end up in El Salvador.

It's getting better. Musk in response to Trump's cutting off his funding, Musk stated if it is cut he will decommission the Dragon program leaving NASA in a lurch for getting astronauts to and from the ISS. Donny your move.

Loyalty only flows up in a fascist state. I guess Elon is learning this now. Hopefully he learns it in the hardest way absolutely humanly possible.

from Newsweek

On each side of the pedestal are quotes attributed to four dictators.

Russian President Vladimir Putin saying, “President Trump is a very bright and talented man,”

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban saying, “The most respected, the most feared person is Donald Trump.”

former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro says, “We do have a great deal of shared values. I admire President Trump.”

North Korea’s Kim Jong Un is quoted as saying the phrases, “Your excellency,” “A ‘special relationship” and, “The extraordinary courage of President Trump.”

What do you think the odds are that Trump hopes Iran carries out a domestic terrorist attack so that he can declare martial law and carry out his agenda less encumbered, maybe even permitting one to occur?

The scary thing is that we can't rule these things out. We really can't be confident Trump is doing anything in the best interest of the country. Especially as we get closer to 2028, we'll have to see everything through the lens of "how does Trump gain".

Fun fact: Trump rhymes with dumb.

Trump is still a German name. It is Trumpf in German, a folkloristic simplification of Triumph. It is also a card that allows a player to sack the cards played by others.

Fun fact:

Americans (officially) residing in my city on 09/30/2017: 248
Americans (officially) residing in my city on 12/31/2024: 285 (+15%)

What amuses me the most is the fact that some Americans apparently can live well in an environment without guns.

It would definitely help to obtain a German citizenship, which would be convenient since otherwise the IRS keeps haunting you. So if you don't want to get taxed twice ...
