Trump met with the Presidents of Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, Gabon, Mauritania, and Liberia. He met with them simultaneously in a manner like a group interview. In a typical boorish Trumpian style, he requested that they speed up their presentations and state their names and countries.

They had expected to talk about important areas of collaboration, such as infrastructure, democracy, security, and economic development, but his goal was to strengthen ties with these nations to negotiate agreements to gain access to resources in those countries. I do not know how successful that was considering the denigrating nature of the meeting and the dismantling of USAID that these countries had been depending on.

I believe any previous president would have met with each individually, having been briefed on the general history and issues of the country and our relationship with it. They would have greeted them by name with a suitable welcoming remark. The time set aside would have been open-ended so as not to rush and give ample time to discuss the agenda.
 
The real pedophiles are now the people who want the files to be released - at least according to the paid propagandists.

They will remain loyal. There will be some who question it and the others will shame them into compliance. Also, the dumpster will just keep rolling out shiny new things for them so that they eventually move on. This won't change anything.

It has many side effects, including paranoia, confusion, psychosis, aggression, insomnia, and neglect of responsibilities, all of which he has shown to some degree.

Trump having thousands of employees worldwide and somehow knowing that Epstein "stole" a specific 16 year old girl from his spa at Mar-a-Lago (to be sex trafficked), and was upset enough about that to say that's why he cut ties with him isn't suspicious at all...
 
This is all so disgusting that I really try to avoid reading it. There is at least one horror story every day. Today, I read that ICE haunted a scientist (researching Lyme disease) who lived for 35 years in the US and left to visit a sick close relative (I have forgotten the details). It is so sad, and what is really bothering me: those people have been in office before Trump and will remain in office after Trump. The USA has turned into a NoGo area.

And I did not forget that Trump freed a man who was arrested in Romania for sex trafficking!

It is simply disgusting.

There will be no bad reports from now on.

Trump must be convinced that his "base" deplores arithmetic as much as he does. I do not understand this dependence on percentages for comparing numbers, even when used correctly.

Terms as "100%" become as cliche and devoid of meaning as "the whole nine yards" and similar balderdash.

which somehow directly addressed me, so I wrote the following comment:

Nazis are nazis, even if you still pretend they were not. ICE is acting like the SA, customs officers arrest foreigners arbitrarily, judges are considered as having to obey the administration rules, or they are fired, or their courts are abused to chase immigrants, the weakest of the society (homeless people) are denunciated as criminals, while human traffickers are released, LGBT people are stripped of their rights, public services are shut down or defunded, the Smithsonian is restructured to a propaganda institute, allies are being threatened with occupation, statistics are manipulated, the secretaries are stupid laymen as RFK, and so on. This is, to me, as a German, a history lesson live show. Until now, I only knew this from books and the classroom. Now it is literally daily in our evening news.

This is my impression and personal opinion. So even if not all of it is 100% correct, it's no less worrying.

EXTREMELY sad. Wish I could say it's not true, but it obviously is. All of it, with the exception that not ALL of our judges are as bad as you say and few, if any, of them have been fired but many are "under investigation" by our corrupt administration.

I think that little can be done since the USA has no "we" culture apart from these fetishes like "best country of all", "adoring the flag", and similar, sorry, propagandistic nonsense. The French would strike nationwide, the Germans would demonstrate nationwide, and others, like the Hungarians or Polish people, probably hope that the EU will prevent the worst. The EU is at least a theoretical corrective because it has indirect power through its large budget. I don't see any of this in the USA. The only lever is the impeachment procedure, but as long as the political majority is fine with it, it is a blunt sword.

There once were big movements in the USA, like MLK or protests against the Vietnam War. That is long ago.
